Apply for 2023 Lodging Tax Funds

The City of Lacey Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) is now accepting applications for the use of 2023 lodging tax funding. The Committee encourages organizations that promote tourism in the City of Lacey and the Lacey Urban Growth Area (UGA) to apply.

Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m., Wednesday, August 31.

1

Review the Guidelines

Lacey receives lodging tax funding and invests these revenues in community events and projects that attract visitors and tourism dollars to Lacey. The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) provides authority for cities to adopt a lodging tax of up to 4% of lodging charges made by hotels and motels. Applicants should be familiar with Lacey Municipal Code 3.03  (Lodging Tax), RCW 67.28.080 (definition of allowable categories of use) and RCW 67.28.1816 (reporting requirements).
