LVSH Policies and Procedures

Community Room Policy – Reservation, Use, and Application

The LVSH offers a Community Room available to government and nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to Veterans, Active-Duty, and their families. The City and LVSH providers may also use the room for internal meetings. Scheduling is at the City’s discretion; requests may not be accommodated due to various reasons, including limited available resources.


Transportation Policy

The LVSH offers transportation for eligible clients to and from appointments within Thurston County and to the American Lake Veterans Affairs Medical Center. All transportation requests must be scheduled at least five business days in advance of the client’s appointment. For more details, please review the policy below.


LVSH Veterans Service Officer Appointment (VSO) Policy

The LVSH offers appointments with Veterans Service Officers to assist with the delivery of services to Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, and their families. Qualifying clients can schedule online using the LVSH appointment booking site. Please review the policy below for more details.


LVSH Mail Policy

The LVSH offers a safe and secure location for clients without a physical address to have their mail delivered to. This policy establishes clear guidelines for the management, storage, and distribution of client mail received at the LVSH.


LVSH Veterans Housing Options Group Policy

The Veterans Housing Options Group (VHOG) meets every Thursday at 10 a.m. in the LVSH community room. This policy outlines the rules and expectations for participation in the weekly VHOG meetings. It applies to all individuals in attendance, regardless of their role or organizational affiliation.


LVSH Computer Lab Policy

The LVSH Computer Lab is available to clients, LVSH providers, volunteers, City of Lacey staff, and other authorized users during regular business hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (except holidays). This policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for the use of the LVSH computer lab.
