City Seeks Planning Commissioners

The City of Lacey is recruiting for the following Planning Commission vacancies, effective January 3, 2025:

  • A first-term position for an applicant who lives in the City of Lacey.
  • A first-term position for an applicant who lives in the Lacey Urban Growth Area.

The nine-member Lacey Planning Commission develops recommendations to the Lacey City Council related to long-range comprehensive planning goals and policies in Lacey. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 6 p.m. at Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE.

Interested community members can submit an online application. The vacancies are open until filled. The first review of applications will occur within 30 days of notice.
