The Engineering Design Section has 5 full-time staff, consisting of the Engineering Design Manager, three (3) Civil Engineers, and a Project Administrator.  This section manages the design of all capital facility and parks projects and also works on some in-house design projects that include transportation improvements and City utilities (water, wastewater, and stormwater).  The construction of some facilities projects, like the New Police Station (currently under construction) is also managed by this section.  Additional duties include managing the City Specifications, procurement, and advertising and bidding for all capital projects.
