Commission on Equity Meeting
On January 21, 2021, The Lacey City Council enacted Ordinance 1581, establishing the Commission on Equity. The Commission on Equity is tasked with: Identifying and advancing opportunities that create a more welcoming community Continuing critical conversations on race and equity Seeking greater participation from underrepresented community members, and Identify existing gaps and barriers which could prevent full participation in government and public policy. Commission on Equity meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
