The purpose of the Human Services Work Group is to:
1) Make recommendations to the Lacey City Council on 2024 Human Services Grant Funding;
2) Advise the City on a Human Services Needs Assessment and future funding priorities; and
3) Advise the City on the establishment of a standing Human Services Advisory Board.
The Workgroup consists of seven general members and one youth member. General membership must include at least two professionals with experience in human services. The Workgroup was established in March of 2024 via Resolution 1145.

The Workgroup typically meets the first Thursday of each month in City Hall, 420 College Street SE and via Zoom. Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend. The Zoom link and instructions on public comment will be included on the meeting agendas.
