John Dziedzic named 2025 Ken Balsley Lacey Historian of the Year

During the May 20 City Council meeting, John Dziedzic was named the 2025 Ken Balsley Lacey Historian of the Year. John is the current secretary of the Lacey Historical Society and has been instrumental in revitalizing this group when it was in danger of folding in 2023. He is well-known in the community for actively promoting civic engagement and historical preservation. John advocates on behalf of others to preserve local history, such as helping community members who want pieces of Lacey history to be recognized.

Congratulations, John! We appreciate your dedication to Lacey’s history.
