Lacey City Council Proclaims August 31, 2026 as Overdose Awareness Day

The Lacey City Council proclaimed August 31, 2026, as Overdose Awareness Day in the City of Lacey. Katie Strozyk, Thurston County Opioid and Overdose Response Manager, accepted the proclamation. The Lacey City Council encourages anyone whose life has been impacted by a substance use disorder to call the Washington Recovery Helpline at 1-866-789-1511.
