Lacey City Council Proclaims August 7, 2026 as Purple Heart Day

The Lacey City Council proclaimed August 7, 2026 as Purple Heart Day in the City of Lacey. Tony Barth, Sergeant First Class (Retired) was on hand to accept the proclamation. The Lacey City Council encourages all residents to honor the courage of our Purple Heart recipients, to reflect on their sacrifices in defense of our freedoms, and to demonstrate our heartfelt appreciation and respect for their service.
