Lacey Connects Businesses with Community Programs Through New Sponsorship Partnership

The City of Lacey (City) entered into an exclusive agreement with High Level Promotions, a national sponsorship consulting firm, to create a community sponsorship program for Lacey’s parks, recreation programs, and facilities.

The goal is simple: give businesses that serve the community meaningful ways to support the parks, programs, and events families use every day.

Through this agreement, High Level Promotions will help identify sponsorship opportunities and connect the City with businesses whose values align with Lacey’s commitment to community, access, and inclusion. The focus will be on long-term partnerships that support community programs and facilities.

“The City is committed to providing exceptional parks and recreation experiences,” said Jen Burbidge, Lacey’s Parks, Culture & Recreation Director. “This partnership creates new opportunities for businesses to support the programs, places, and experiences that help make Lacey a great place to live.”

High Level Promotions, in partnership with Lacey Parks, will serve as the City’s exclusive representative for sponsorships and naming rights opportunities across its parks and recreation system.

“Lacey’s parks system is doing something important for this community every day — youth programs, diverse programming, free events, accessible facilities, competitive athletic venues,” states Colton Steer, CEO — High Level Promotions. “The businesses that serve these families should have a meaningful way to show up for all of it. Our job is to build that bridge in a way that protects what makes these places special, while giving partners a lasting and authentic connection to the community they’re already part of.”

By supporting Lacey’s parks and recreation system, sponsors will help invest in the community spaces, programs, and experiences that residents value most.

Lacey’s Parks, Culture & Recreation system includes more than 1,200 acres of parks and open space, youth and adult programs, sports leagues, summer camps, aquatics, and free community events like the Fireworks Spectacular and Cultural Celebration.

The City also continues investing in high-quality public spaces. Recent improvements at the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC) added more than 340 paved parking spaces, ADA-accessible parking, EV charging stations, sidewalks, bike lanes, and landscaping.

“What the City of Lacey has built at the Regional Athletic Complex is a real statement: paved parking, EV charging, ADA access, bike lanes. That’s a community investing in itself,” says Steer. “Our role is to extend that story to the businesses in Thurston County who want to be part of it. The RAC is just the beginning. We see this growing into something that reaches every corner of Lacey’s parks and recreation system, and we want the right partners growing alongside it.”
