Lacey Extends Lodging Tax Funding Application Deadline

The City of Lacey (City) has reopened and extended the application period for 2026 lodging tax funding applications at the request of the Lacey City Council during their September 2 Meeting. Organizations that promote tourism in the City and its Urban Growth Area are encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Each year, the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (Committee) reviews applications for lodging tax funding and makes a recommendation to the Lacey City Council on the use of lodging tax revenues. The recommendations are based on applicants who demonstrate the ability to attract and enhance tourism in Lacey and its Urban Growth Area. Interested organizations can access the online application at CityofLacey.org/2026LTAC. Applicants may be required to give a follow-up presentation at the discretion of the Committee.
