Lacey Hosts Human Services Grant Application Workshop June 9
The City of Lacey is hosting a Human Services Grant Application Workshop for eligible nonprofits considering applying for the Human Services
Grant Program (HSGP) funds.

Workshop attendees will learn about the HSGP eligibility criteria, priority focus areas for funding, the application, timeline, and required attachments. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

The HSGP application period is open now through Friday, June 26. To apply, submit an online application.
Background
The City has up to $300,000 available for non-profit human service providers serving Lacey community members. The maximum grant award for service projects is $30,000, and the maximum award for capital (brick and mortar) projects is $50,000.
Priority focus areas of the 2026 HSGP include:
- Affordable Housing / Homelessness Prevention: expanding and upgrading affordable housing programs, emergency rental assistance, housing education, and creating and maintaining supportive housing services that prevent homelessness.
- Youth Services: Youth-focused programs or projects, including childcare.
- Behavioral Health: mental health care, drug and alcohol recovery, support in times of personal and family crisis.
