The City of Lacey (City) is hosting a Human Services Grant Application Workshop for eligible nonprofits considering applying for the Human Services Grant Program (HSGP) funds.

Workshop attendees will learn about the HSGP eligibility criteria, priority focus areas for funding, the application, timeline, and required attachments. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

The HSGP application period is open now through Friday, May 23, 2025. To apply, submit an online application.

Background

The City has up to $300,000 available for non-profit human service providers serving Lacey community members. Eligible programs or projects must meet basic human needs for housing, survival, or security. Priority focus areas of the HSGP include:

  • Housing: expanding and upgrading affordable housing programs, emergency rental assistance, housing education, creating and maintaining supportive housing services
  • Survival: access to food, water, shelter, sleep, and clothing
  • Security: job training and placement, mental and physical health care, drug and alcohol recovery services, support in times of personal or family crisis, and transportation.
