Lacey Invites Community to New Museum’s Grand Opening

The City of Lacey invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of the new Lacey Museum on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., at 4160 6th Ave. SE, Suite 101, Lacey, WA  98503. This free public event will showcase and celebrate the museum’s exhibits and programs.

Community members are invited to explore the new space, discover Lacey’s rich history, and enjoy family-friendly activities, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony, opening remarks, crafts, a magician, live music, and more.

“The Lacey Museum is a place where community stories come to life,” said Erin Quinn Valcho, Museum Curator. ”We are excited to welcome the public into this new space and celebrate the history, people, and experiences that have shaped Lacey.”

Visitors can also shop at the museum store, which offers exclusive Lacey merchandise, unique gifts, keepsakes, and commemorative items inspired by Lacey’s history and heritage.
