Lacey Police Department Invites Community Members to Apply for its Community Academy

The Lacey Police Department invites community members to join us this fall for a 6-week course where you will learn about our department’s operations, including hiring, criminal law, community outreach, firearms, less-lethal tools, traffic enforcement, SWAT, detectives, and evidence processing!

This year’s dates are: 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28. and 11/4. Classes are held Wednesday nights from 5:30-8:30 pm. If you sign up, please be able to attend all classes.

Apply here if you:    

✅ Are 18+ years old 

✅ Live, work, or attend school in Lacey 

✅ Have no felony convictions, pending criminal cases, or outstanding warrants 

✅ Sign course waivers   

Applications close Monday, September 7 at midnight.
