Lacey Seeks Input on Draft CDBG Plans

The City of Lacey (City) invites the public to review and provide input on the draft Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2025-2027 Consolidated Plan (Con Plan) and 2025 Annual Action Plan (AAP), now through 5 p.m. on Friday, July 25.

The 2025-2027 Con Plan outlines community needs, resources, priorities, and activities to be funded through the CDBG program over the three-year period. The 2025 AAP summarizes the actions, activities, and resources—both federal and non-federal—that will be used in 2025 to address the needs and goals outlined in the Consolidated Plan.

The City anticipates receiving $348,393 in CDBG dollars from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in 2025. Based on community input, a housing and homelessness needs assessment, market analysis, and a review of non-housing community needs, the City recommends three areas for inclusion in the 2025–2027 Con Plan:

  • Public Facilities and Infrastructure
  • Housing
  • Public Services
