The Lacey Veterans Services Hub provides a central location for Veterans, Active-Duty, and their families to access services from our dedicated partners and service providers.

VA Benefits

Veterans and their families can receive assistance with VA benefit claims from accredited and certified Veterans Service Officers.

Employment

We provide employment support to help Veterans and their families prepare for, secure, and maintain meaningful employment.

Housing

We provide housing assistance to Veterans and their families facing homelessness, including rehousing support, rental assistance, and coordinated housing resources.

Veterans Housing Options Group (VHOG):

The VHOG is a housing assistance program designed to connect Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, and their families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless with local housing resources and support services in Thurston County. VHOG sessions are held every Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. in the community room at the Lacey Veterans Services Hub (LVSH).

Financial Assistance

Eligible Veterans can receive short-term financial assistance to help address urgent needs, subject to eligibility review.

Counseling

We collaborate with local community resources to support Veterans and their families as they navigate life’s challenges.

Education

Veterans and their families can receive help verifying VA education benefits and connecting to local education and training opportunities.

Nutrition

The Hub partners with local food programs to provide emergency food assistance to anyone in the community experiencing food insecurity.

Legal

We provide Veterans with limited legal assistance through referrals to our partner legal service providers.

Transportation

Veterans and family members attending medical appointments in Thurston County and at the American Lake VA can receive free transportation, subject to availability.
