Project Update
Heads up Lacey! Project Admin here with a quick construction update for you:
On Monday, March 16 during the hours of 7 am – 5 pm, 26th Ave SE will be closed while crews deliver the lid to the wet well. In order to place the lid, there will be a crane on site. This is an exciting step forward in this project.
Good News: 26th Loop SE and Golf Club Rd SE will remain open, so access around the area will still be available.
As expected, given this time of year, this work is weather dependent. If plans need to shift, I’ll be sure to keep you posted with an updated schedule.
Thank you for your patience and support as we keep things moving forward on this project. We appreciate the community cooperation.

Project Update
UPDATE: This has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 23.
Also, for those who are curious (like me!) here’s a quick explanation of what a wet well is:
A went well is basically a large underground holding tank for wastewater. It temporarily collects sewage and then, when it reaches a certain level, pumps turn on and move it along to the treatment plant. Think if it as a waiting room that helps manage sudden increases in flow so everything keeps moving smoothly and safely.
