Throughout the city, you’ll find public art, memorials, monuments, and other features that honor our history, celebrate creativity, and recognize the people and events that have shaped Lacey. These spaces add character to our parks, streets, and gathering places while creating opportunities to reflect, learn, and connect.

We can honor the legacy and importance of individuals, events, and features through commemorative and memorial naming. These names uplift the people, values, and history that shaped our community.

We’re fortunate to receive contributions from community members to enhance our parks, programs, and facilities. Contributions can be in the form of benches, signs, and special projects.
