Reclaimed Water Plan
Wastewater from the City is currently treated by the LOTT Clean Water Alliance (LOTT), where Class ‘A’ reclaimed water is produced. A portion of the reclaimed water is allocated back to the City; under current conditions, all of the City’s allocation of the reclaimed water is used for mitigation of water rights. Based on growth projections, the City believes there may be more reclaimed water available in the future.
The purpose of the Reclaimed Water Plan (Plan) is to define the best use of Class ‘A’ reclaimed water as growth continues. The City of Lacey currently receives reclaimed water supply from LOTT’s Martin Way Reclaimed Water Treatment Plant (Martin Way Plant), which is located within Lacey city limits. This Plan will identify potential customers and system infrastructure needed to use its reclaimed water supply.
