SBA Loans Available for Flood Damages

In 2025, winter storms in Washington affected many individuals and businesses. If you or your business experienced hardships due to storms, you may be eligible to apply for a Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster loan. These loans help homeowners, renters, and businesses recover from declared disasters.

Who Can Apply for an SBA Loan?

  • Private nonprofit organizations.

You must be located in a declared disaster area and meet other criteria. The SBA has declared Thurston County a disaster area due to the flooding that occurred from December 5 through December 22, 2025.

  • Military reservist

Two deadlines to keep in mind:

  • Monday, April 27 is the deadline to apply for any physical damage
  • Tuesday, November 24 is the deadline to apply for economic injury
