Suspect in Shooting Incident Now in Custody

On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at approximately 12:49 p.m., Lacey Detectives took a 17-year-old male Thurston County resident into custody at the Lacey Police Department on probable cause for Assault in the First Degree while armed with a Firearm; and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the First Degree.

This arrest stems from an investigation into an April 2, 2023 shooting outside a house party in the 4600 block of Stonegate Street SE. The victim, a 19-year-old Lacey man was treated at a local hospital for his injuries. He has since been released from the hospital and is recovering.
