Free Medical Transport for Thurston County Veterans

The Lacey Veterans Services Hub (LVSH) provides free transportation to the LVSH and to medical appointments for Thurston County Veterans. The appointments must be scheduled at least 5 business days in advance and be within Thurston County or at American Lake. LVSH vans are not equipped with a wheelchair lift. Veterans who need a wheelchair lift should contact Dial-A-Lift.
Because of the long commute time, LVSH requests that appointments at American Lake be scheduled for the morning and completed no later than 2:30 pm. First-time riders will be asked to complete and sign the release form below. Our dedicated volunteers will help you get to and from your appointment. To schedule a van ride, please contact the LVSH at 360-456-3850. Please be prepared to provide:
- Full Name
- Date of Ride
- Address for Pick Up
- Cell Phone Number
- Location of Appointment (address or building number at American Lake)
- Duration of Appointment (begin and end time)
- Any special accommodations needed (mobility issues, service animal, caretaker info., etc.)
