City Council Proclaims October as Walk to School Month

At their October 6 meeting, our City Council proclaimed October as Walk to School Month.

The City of Lacey encourages all community members to promote the safety and healthy of children this month and throughout the year by supporting pedestrian, bicycle, and active transportation improvements, modeling safe pedestrian and bicycling behaviors, driving responsibly in school zones, and practicing an active lifestyle.
