Enjoy music and dance presentations by local and regional performing arts groups. Learn about various world traditions through demonstrations and displays. Sample the flavors and art of the world with our diverse food and craft vendors. Bring the kids for hands-on crafts! This is an event designed for the whole family.

Does it cost money to go to the celebration?

Nope! This is a free community event.

The only cost would be if you wanted to support one of our local vendors.

What is a Sensory Recovery Area?

The Sensory Recovery Area is a place for kids and adults to step away from the action and re-group with calming activities, low lights, and a quieter atmosphere. We realize that all the sounds and activity of a major event can be overwhelming for some and providing a chance to step away and regulate before stepping back out to the event will enable more families to enjoy the Cultural Celebration to the fullest! The Sensory Recovery Room is located inside Worthington Center and managed by local Lacey business Sensory Tool House.

Can I bring my pet to the Cultural Celebration?

No. Saint Martin’s University policy prohibits pets on campus; however, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, service animals are permitted in University facilities.

How do I sign up to be in the Cultural Celebration?

Booth spaces are full for 2024. Email events@cityoflacey.org to be added to our contact list for next year!
