Who Should Attend:

High School and early College-level Students

This FREE event is hosted by the Lacey Youth Council and the City of Lacey Human Resources Department.

Join the Lacey Youth Council for an afternoon of games, pizza, prizes, and more. Listen to keynote speaker Jill Busby and learn tips and tricks to communicate in difficult situations. Check out our breakout sessions with TwinStar Credit Union and Thurston County Public Health and Social Services. Looking for a summer job? City staff will be there to provide information about job opportunities and help you set up your online profile to apply for jobs. Bring your resume and get help preparing it for your applications and even get headshots taken.

City of Lacey staff will be there to discuss job opportunities and programs right here in Lacey! Visit staff from the Lacey Police Department, Parks, Culture, and Recreation, Public Works, and more. Chek out our current job openings here!

Prepare

Bring your resume! Human Resources staff can help you review and improve your resume. While you are there get set up with an online portal to apply for City and other government jobs! Visit our photographer from 12-2 pm to get a headshot taken for your online profiles.
