Algae Bloom Reported in Pattison Lake

Staff have received lab results for the follow-up algae sample taken at Pattison Lake on 08/07/2023.

Microcystin: 31 ยตg/L which is above the state regulatory standards of 8.0 ยตg/L.

Staff will collect one sample per week until toxin levels are below regulatory guidelines for two consecutive weeks. Notifications will be sent when samples are collected and when results are available.

When an algae bloom is present or you suspect an algae bloom is occurring, we recommend extra precautions to avoid the health risks posed by potential toxins.
