Land Survey Section

The Land Survey Section of the Engineering Division, under the direction of a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, provides surveying and mapping services for the City of Lacey.  Responsibilities include maintaining a horizontal and vertical control network for use by all parties involved with development and utility projects within Lacey’s Urban Growth Area, providing survey services for design, construction and as-builts of City of Lacey construction projects, property boundary surveys, developing and maintaining accurate maps of utilities installed in the city’s Urban Growth Area, and producing descriptions for easements, rights-of-way, and other land transactions involving the city.
